External Or Internal?

Very interesting debate, currently have a Juwel 125 tank with an internal filter, but looking to build a new tank for the bedroom .... So noise levels would be a big concern, are external filters such as the Tetratec range mentioned fairly quiet ??

there is no right or wrong answer, it depends on the tank, fish, and what the tank is used for....

so i guess my answer is either, and sometimes both on the same tank

If you have a ps3, the noise from the aps 2200 is about on par with that. Definitely not loud enough to keep you
awake!
