It's a very good idea to have anti-histamines to hand and a phone while putting hands in tanks, gloves or not. There can be some very nasty but beautiful things in there, some of which produce toxins not fully understood by modern medicine.

There have been cases of people going into anaphylactic shock due to accidentally squashing nudibranches, touching zoas with a cut finger, etc. so it's not all fun and games in there

Ya, tell me about it. I found a cone snail in my tank last night. Luckily I was too lazy to pick it out and just try and id it instead.

hooray!! If you go with chinese LED bulbs make sure you order them a month or 2 in advance >_< I still have yet to receive mine. Tracking says they are still in china.

I'm fine....went up in the loft and dug out my 150w halide from my last reef tank

Just got to build a custom hood with extractor fans, etc.
