Yes, score one for the betta-obsessed! My boyfriend was off to buy a shark and instead gave in to the dark side (I swear I had nothing to do with this! ) and bought a lovely patriot/marble-esque VT boy! He is so proud of himself on his find! So, meet Ivan:

And this is Tim (my B/F)'s new 10 gal that Ivan is in......BTW, he is going to get some plants tomorrow. We're thinking Java moss in the left corner and an amazon sword in the front right corner.

i just converted my brother, but not to bettas, he's never had fishies, but went and bought a 14 gallon yesterday haha!
and my boyfriend has a soft spot for my neon tetras...

is ivan going to have any tank friends?

I don't think it'll be very long since he already is signed up to take his sister's betta when she moves. Ivan might get some frog buddies, or perhaps even a couple cories. When his sister moves, he might just split the tank and have Roxy on one side and Ivan on the other! Hehehehe.....I've already got him scouting out bettas at the store "for me" everytime he goes, so it will only be a matter of time!!!
