Everytime I Disturb Back Compartments Rubbish Circulates The Tank

it lasts about an hour or two then settles and makes the water cloudy. happened today as i reached in to get a dropped magnet for my korailla nano and removed week old carbon and poof filled the tank with rubbish and small particles, is this ok and if not how do i stop it?

You have the boyu 550 don't you? Each week when you do your water change, syphon the water from the back weirs and then when filling up put the water back in back weirs, does that make sense (no, i hear you say ) - empty water from the weirs and then tip your water back into the weirs rather than the display tank - helps give a good clean out each week - you will get some debris, but that is the point. The animals in the display part will eat the organic stuff or it will go through the skimmer

like siphon some of the stuff out the stuff that you cant wash through the compartments with new water to blast it out ok thanks!
