We've got 5 Plecos at the moment, 3 Pictus and 3 Pearl catfish. There's also 5 Ticto Barbs and we will be getting different Barbs as well as some moe Plecos!

In which case you may want to tread carefully regrading the pleco's rasping at the background...long term effects maybe not be good. Good luck though.

It won't be a problem now as we are buying a background instead. It was a first attempt at making one and it didn't work out unfortunately.

The price of those 3d backgrounds are rediculous £60 for a 48"x24",, I was going to have a go at making my own background,, dont think i going to now though, sounds like more trouble than it's worth

Hi Davey,
You're not wrong about the price! Ours has just cost us £105 which is expensive.
There doesn't seem to be much of a market for 3D backgrounds which is a shame because I'm sure there's a bug demand for them.
Don't be put off making your own, a few people have had great success. Unfortunately we went about it all wrong and it just didn't work out
