Were there readings of ammonia or nitrite in the "green tank"?

Hopefully someone can suggest some medication, but for now, I recommend trying to keep his QT water immacualate by doing major (75% or more) water changes every morning and evening.

Did you notice him acting injured/sick right away, or only after you cleaned the filter? If you rinsed the filter in tap water or changed the media completely, you may have killed the beneficial bacteria in your tank that get rid of toxic fish waste. Without these bacteria, your fish may have been subject to ammonia or nitrite toxicity. I would get test results for ammonia and nitrite ASAP using a liquid test kit (like the API Master Test Kit) to find out if this could be the problem.
