EMERGENCY WITH SHIPPED FISH

Yeah I feel for the supplier but it can’t be that hard and it’s probably more cost effective to triple bag fish, or provide adequate space for them to be relatively comfortable in a bag. The box looks about 13”x13”x13”, and that’s for 2 individually bagged scats. They were double-bagged with black styrofoam on the outside, but still I feel like you could do some more.

The fish is still woozy, heavy breathing, and drunk but he is surviving. I’ve kept lights off and haven’t offered food for the whole tank. The other scats are attempting to school with him, which is quite cute.

They are giving me store credit for the fish and are paying for shipping me whatever I get

Little update - the last scat left had fin rot and was super discolored. He ended up getting spooked and jumped up into the glass lid, which gave him a what I could only think was a concussion. He died the next day.
