You didn't really add a plant...you added a large plastic bucket and rooting floss...and a small plant. Please let the plant float free.View attachment 144577
Ok I put the only one that would fit in. Is there anything else I can do.
I think it would be cruel to put any fish in that desk tank. Its always gonna be a hospital tank.l and ok I will cover the rest with cardboard, and I do have sine duckweed in thereYou didn't really add a plant...you added a large plastic bucket and rooting floss...and a small plant. When we say 'add plants', we usually mean add fast-growing plants. It is by growth that plants take up tank waste products. The plant you've chosen is a very slow, slow grower.
Can I please assume that you added floating plants as well?
(Use of plants has been explained in many previous threads).
Tanks like this are designed for people who know absolutely nothing about fish, but want something pretty to sit on their desks. To make it more amenable to fish, I'd cover at least two of the 'windows'. If this was used as a hospital tank, three would be covered.
Yes. Yet tons of people buy tiny tanks like these. On lazada people buy tiny lego tanks for betta and semi-bowl wall hangers for bettas too. Yet they review it as: 'Nice product. My betta like it too.' I seriously doubt their betta is happy in it.I think it would be cruel to put any fish in that desk tank. I don't think a betta should go in anything smaller than 2 gallons, even that's to small. I think 3 gallons is minimum for them to thrive.Yes. Yet tons of people buy tiny tanks like these. That was understood and you did put him there for treatment purposes.I think it would be cruel to put any fish in that desk tank. Its always gonna be a hospital tank.l and ok I will cover the rest with cardboard.
it was actally the filter from my 3 gallon, i just took it apart as much as possible for it to still be funconal. I added a smaller sponge to replace the fry protector. If fu survives i will put him in the 22 gallon when its cycled. I thought that until then the betta can take the hospital tank (only for a month or 2 he will be outa there in no time) then put the guppy in the 3 gallon. When the 22 gallon tank is cycled i will put the guppy in it and put the betta back in the 3 gallon. I feel bad having samuri in there for even a month, but its all i can really do.That was understood and you did put him there for treatment purposes.
Given that space is at a premium, even in a hospital tank, I'm sure that you can appreciate the use of floating plants.
I'm intrigued by that pump taking up space...I'm assuming that it's smaller that the smallest of sponge filters?
1. I bought the guppy months and months ago.Hang on....
The 22 gallon (that you thought was 14 gallon til several members corrected you in your other threads).....you have questioned potential stock....everything from saltwater Clownfish to freshwater Angels & full size Gourami in the last few days (including today)...how can you put the Guppy (if it survives) into that same 22 gallon aquarium when it will not be ready for habitation til end of November/start of December and any/all of your other stocking variations (most of which you have already been told are unsuitable)?
You were advised against the Guppies with the Betta over a week ago due to the potential aggression issues with the Betta attacking the Guppy.....and now, low and behold, the Guppy is all messed up after the Betta attacked it. Why didn't you move the Guppies out before the Betta almost killed them? You were warned not to keep them together.
Please start taking notice of what you are told, none of us tell you things for the sake of it.....you need to absorb and learn, not continue doing your own thing regardless.
you are now unignored, and thats my question. What should i do with my guppy.Hang on....

Last thing, someone in my family was telling me not to put the guppy in the 1/2 gallon and to put it in the cycling tank, obesely i did not put the guppy in the cycling tank. Then i walked in my room and saw fu like that, so i just ignored the person because they obesely dont know what there talking about and i followed your advice and now i just need to hope he survives.Hang on....

Generally, poorly fish should be fed less.Anyway, im worried about what to feed fu. Often i feed him pellets including these ingredients: fish meal, soybean meal, weat flour, weat meal, yeast powder, krill meal, weat germ, fish oil, alfalfa powder, astaxanthin, other vitamins, minarals and coulorents. Every once in a while i give fu some veggies like zucchini to. What should i feed him, are the pellets fine if his injured?
ok, now your PERMANENTLY ignored forever and i want nothing to do with you, im sick of you making me feel helpless and complaining. Im glad i found the ignore setting. You are being mean and you obesely think your 'the best fish keeper ever' when your probably not.Hang on....

Thankyou, and are you putting laghing emojis on my messages about that annoying person because you think i am being ridiculous or is it a different reason?Generally, poorly fish should be fed less.
This avoids stressing their digestive systems and helps keep waste low.
