If i turn it on it just gets warmer and warmer and won't cut out! how can i fix this?

dont even try! just get a new one.. an Elite heater boiled a whole tank of angel fish for me.. i hate them ( the heaters not the fish lol )

Ok thankyou! i will just have to part with the pennys i suppose.

One more thing though, I have an air pump that has stopped working also. When plugged in it makes the noise as if it should be working, but then doesn't blow out air, is there a way to fix this?

oh no idea.. but heres a bump for you with the hope that someone will

you can replace the diaphrams in air pumps if they have split but normally they just get really noisey but still work....
maybe rooster is right but dont put them in your green recycle bin.........
