He is just under 3 inches at mo but can reach 10 inches so need bigish tank ,if you have any loaches in tank then he is not a fish for you as I have 2 yoyo and 4 clown also better if you have substrate in tank , only eats frozen or live food if you can give him a good home then please contact me and you can pick him up I live in Harlow Essex 07554018035 or if you want to know more details
cheers cathy

Thats ok :look: I love my loaches as they all have there little charactistics and there own names as had them for a couple of years now :good: cheers for enquiring cathy

Am I right in thinking that these are species only and need a 200l and at least five of them?

They are the cutest fish and my husband really wants some, but the only space I have at the moment is a 125l which is currently cycling, and it's probably not big enough.

Hi you have 1 on there own or at least 5 in tank , he is really cute when you see him as they hide a lot but you can get them to feed out of hand when they become more fully grown. they can grow up to 10inches and live for as long so a great fish if you have room for them. good luck with your fish cycle I went that a while ago when upgraded to a bigger tank cheers for enquiring cathy

My elephantnose has now gone to a good home :good: fish rescue@ welfare have just picked him up

Great to read a quick positive result. :)

Its highly unlikely, but I'd love to read about how this fish (and other similar stories) gets on in the future. I often wonder how fish I've sold or given away are doing these days.
