I think i have a problem my EBJD keeps Bang his head against things deliberately as if he is in pain. Water parameters are fine and nothing else in the tank seems fine. He is still eating it is if he has headache

Could be i suppose, he seems ok for a while then just starts doing it again. Don't really want to put him down but could be kinder in the end, I have read other peoples  
experiences and apparently these fish are prone to just dying for nor apparent reason so who knows.

Your parameters are pretty spot on for him, it's strange what he's doing.. maybe just wait and see. I know it might not be possible but maybe if you uploaded a video of what he's doing? Any signs of a small dent forming on his head or anything out of the ordinary?

No there is not a mark on him, i'll have a go at videoing him thanks
