Hi all

Its time for me to replace some of my media on my Eheim 2026 Pro 2 cannister filter.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced store/online retailer.

BTW my plant selection arrives this week so do I need to omit the SUBSTRATPRO and ACTIVE CARBON SPONGE?

Ita a 204L community tank and will shortly be heavily planted.

I thought I read somewhere on here that carbon in filters is bad for plants. Any other suggestions for media combinations greatfuly recieved.

Ditch the carbon (IMO) but the Substrat Pro is fine - it's inert biological media - ideal! BTW - I think I've spotted media on eBay in the past.

i think i'll try efimech, sustratpro, blue and white filter sponges but no carbon or carbon pads.
