I'm looking for a new filter and I don't know which one would be more suitable for a 77G tank? Eheim classic 2250 or pro2 2028 or FX5?
The filter must handle the bio and mech filtration "alone", only one filter on the tank.
2250 has ~12 liter media capacity
2028 has ~6 liter and is easier to clean?
FX5 has ~6 liter
I'm not convinced by the reliability and quietness of the FX5 but it's a lot cheaper.
In my area eheim pro2 2028 is 729$ and FX5 is 300$. That's a huge difference. LFS are crazy.
Any thoughts?
