Something like this should be posted. With a list of course of which eggs are whose.

Oops! Duh! :look:
I see, thanks. Well then add eggs at every stage and compare viable to unviable. We must find work for Frank!

That really is awesome, Frank!

That was a really good idea! :hyper:

Frank... are you interested in doing that with all the different kinds so we can learn to tell what we have? Your pics are so good! You could actually make it work! You know you want too...
It would actually be handy though.

We would have the unusual addition of a handy dandy egg chart for our board! Believe me, you don't want ICEEGRL nagging--Oops!--pestering you long.

Sure he does. :hyper:
You can't be my only target Sue.
I only do it out of love and respect

Not only can I nag... :shifty: I can suck up too! :hyper:

Greetings. Honestly, unless you are using a special lens and lighting, you ar not really going to see much difference in a new egg and the same egg, right before it hatches. Although an interesting idea, time just doesn't permit that type of project. I am having a hard enough time just getting the pictures that I need taken of simple pics of as many as 20 specie that I keep and don't have any decent pics of.

As far as pics of non-viable eggs, I have seen them posted here, on more than one occasion. A quick Google search will reveal all that any one could possibly need. "Google is your friend." - Frank

I was picking. I knew that would take an unreasonable amount of time. If it were possible though... it would be handy.
I was talking about charting the size of the eggs from the different kinds. So one could maybe tell which fish it belonged to by the size.
I do love google, but I don't often find pics of your quality. :good:

A few of those not viable egg pics on here are mine. I have tons of them! I have some viable pics too. Just not sized...
and only 3 kinds.

I can't see you taking a pic that isn't great. All of your pics are amazing. Mine will never be even close to that good on my best day.

One thing to keep in mind is that the same specie can slightly varying egg size, due to a few major variables.

That's kind of you to say. I guess I will start shooting extreme close-ups of each egg from now on. Thanks. I needed that. :hyper:

I have tons of them, too. I just have never taken a picture of them.

It's like anything else. Practice, determination and patience are required. A litttle bit of luck can go a long way, too. Keep working at it. There are thousands of resources on the web that you should try to avail yourself of. They help me. I have lots of room for improvement, myself. I am rarely happy with any of my photos. Truth. - Frank
