I love the bowl! It is a great idea. One question though, are there air holes in the lid so the betta has fresh air? I would buy one for sure if it was offered on Ebay.

I think it's really cute! B) Nice stone wall, could you use straws to make poles? You should make a little brick wall too! :D

There WILL be airholes in the lid ....large enough to accomidate airline tubing needed. The lid is terra cotta which drills fairly easily if I'm careful

I'm hoping to offer these by next week on ebay ... I want to set one up with my own fish in it for a while and take better pics and all... if for no other reason than to show if I'm putting my babies in there then its SAFE
I've never done any selling on ebay before so I gotta figure that out too

It'll also help people realize what size it is and how nice it can look if you put one of your fish in there. Put your flashiest fish in there when you take the photos...it'll make an impression, I assure you.

It looks really nice so far. Are you going to offer customizable colors for marbles and such? I think it'd be a nice touch.

Take it outside on a sunny day and don't use the flash. Start cheap with no reserve for the first one, then you can bump the price up when people see that other had bought it and like it. Also, be sure to state in the auction to "make sure you bid early, as this is quite unique and might go quickly" or something to make people start the bidding sooner, you might get more bids and people competing.

if i might make a suggestion? take some black paint, electrical tape, permanent marker, or something similarly permanent and draw a big straight "Fill Line" across the back. i just had a terrible vision of someone filling it all the way up and electrocuting their betta with the push lamp. but other than that, great job! it really looks professional.

The push light is battery operated..no risk of electrocution.

My question is, how are the push lights attached? Becasue if they aren't securely attach and the humidity in the bowl loosens the adhesive that comes on those type lights..it could fall into the water..and the adhesive make the fish sick. Not saying it *will* but that it could.

Cute idea none-the-less. Good luck with those!!

Those look great! Goodluck in selling them. Hopefully people will realize that these are a much better alternative to the much smaller bowls that are sold on ebay!! Keep up the good work. I would definitely buy one if I didn't already have 11 tanks in my room to clean!

Whoo, they're nice :) I'd make a point of how large it is compared to other tanks on there, and how cheap it is compared to them. Just make every point you can :)

That Is a Really Good Idea, And A FAR superior Betta Bowl to the Crap on Ebay.
