I was wondering what do you think is the easist. I have breed many times with all of the live beares. Ever time i buy them they reproduce it is crazy.

Hi Tropicalfishfn

Despite their hardness to keep, I find duscus one of the easist to breed. Not only do they look after their young, but they aslo feed them for the first few weeks. Growing them to adulthood is another matter.

Gupppies are by far the easiest but have you ever seen convict cichlids? They dont have the nickname "water bunnies" for nothing,in fact most cichlids will breed quite easily, once you have a pair the difficult thing is getting them to stop breeding

thats cool. I am saving money up for a new tank for cichlids but i got alot of things to save up for so it could take a while

I agree that cichlids are the easiest to breed. Never had a problem starting them, it's stopping them that's impossible!
