Hi,

My first post, so hi everyone..

It was actually this thread that attracted me to the forum!! I just wanted to see if anyone else is using an IQ3 for their Betta, and how they are finding it... I have been doing some research and am just about ready to set mine up...

Any advice on changing water, cycling, or cleaning of the IQ3 would also be appreciated...

Thanks heaps!!

Do your tanks have lids?

Can you turn the light on and off independently of the filter (I have a similar tank and it's designed to have light on all day) - I'm asking as they are REALLY pretty and I'm currently looking on ebay at them :)

awesome setups very clean looking

I think so- it says it's dimmable so you should be able to turn it off.

It doesn't look like lids are included, but you should be able to DIY something like a sheet of clear acrylic.

Yeah they dont come with a lid, but I just made a Clear PVC one that seems to be doing the job fine. And yes you can turn off the light independently or dim it if you so desire...

I thought the size of this tank would be sufficient for a single Betta...

>>Honeythorn: Do you not believe this is big enough?
