I have my betta (Jazz) in a TMC Aquagro (pretty much identical to the Dymax IQ3) and he seems to love it. Just one quick question, did you also have to adjust the water inlet nozzle? I found that if you turn it through 90degrees so the nozzle is vertical and then angle it so its directed strait at the side of the tank it reduces the flow of the water enough to allow the betta to do that 'hovery' thing they like to do but also move the water about enough to get good circulation for the filter?
Im planning on getting a few more of these tanks as they seem to work pretty well for bettas (and you are right, you DO have to watch the water levels like a fricking hawk!!)
