Makes me really angry the whole business.
As it turns out I sicked the RSPCA onto to the shop Katchan mentioned on his post, but thier hands were tied because they can be legally sold here, not made here. They have to be shipped into the country in that condition. It limits their lifespans to a mere 3 months! And they don't sell them cheap either.
Makes me wonder why people even bother buying them. They don't look healthy and the LFS people freely tell then that they have a limited lifespan.
