So I recently saw a bunch of dwarf snake heads or Channa gachua in my LFS. They were tiny probably endler size, but they were so cute and had tonnes of colour. I'm wondering if one would be okay with larger community fish. I'll put my stocking below. The tanks a planted fluval Roma 125.Thanks

6x Albino bronze Corydoras (Corydoras aeneus)
1x flash pleco (Panaqolus albivermis)
5x glass catfish (Kryptopterus vitreolus)
4X honey gourami (Trichogaster chuna)
A bunch of endlers (Poecilia wingei)

The endlers and probably honey gouramis are temporary and will be moved into my other tank once it's aquascaped.

I've never kept this species, but wow, they look cool. Here's what seriouslyfish has to say:

In general Channa are best-maintained in species-specific aquaria, although C. gachua can be kept in a well-chosen community arrangement alongside peaceful, non-territorial tankmates that are too large to be viewed as prey.

Young specimens can be maintained together but usually begin to display aggressive behaviour towards one another as they become sexually mature, although this does vary somewhat depending on the population (see ‘Distribution’).

If a pair forms they are usually peaceful towards one another but hostile to other conspecifics.

So...maybe??? I'd be worried about the cories, the glass catfish, and especially the endlers. If you do get some send us pics. Looks like a fun species to keep. I bet they have a lot of personality too.

Thank you for the reply @WhistlingBadger, they are such a cool fish. I literally watched them for 15 minutes. There faces are so cute and they all came over to the front. When I go there again I think I will buy one. They were as small as my endlers so I don't there would be any problems for a while and if there ever was problems I have a spare 20 long I can set up or I could rehome them.
