Hi..
I bought Dwarf Saggitaria / Sagittaria subulata at online shopA nd the description tell that's it's going to arrive around 12-24 hour. But it took them 2 days to arrive. It's just arrive now and the saggitaria leaf are yellowish. And some of the leaf are Broken or even turning blackish.
so the question is
Does the saggitaria grow new leaf and replace the broken one/bad one and thrive to the conditions?. I tried to plant some of them immediately to my nano tank. I didn't dose any CO2 bc it's on my shrimp tank right now and there's no co2 installed.

sorry for my bad English.
any suggestion? Or should I throw it away?

Remove the brown or black leaves because they are dead. If the plant survives it will grow new leaves.

You don't need carbon dioxide (CO2) for most plants in an aquarium. However, a complete aquarium plant fertiliser and good light will help most plants do better.

Owh okay! I'll do it
Do you have any recommend on the fertilizer?
I only used base high nutrient soil to all of my tank.

I used Sera Florena, which is a liquid aquarium plant fertiliser. There are other brands tho.

Hi I want to ask again.
Can you grow the saggitaria with only 2/1 Leaf left?
Most of the leaf are dead so I chop it down.
The rot are really long so I cut it a bit and then plant it.
So will the saggitaria still alive with 2-3 leaf?
I use Tropical Specialised Fertilizer. I don't have any CO2 injection. I can't find any co2 tank ATM
But I still have Co2 tablet but I don't want to use it to my 50 gallon because it's kinda a was.
I only use tablet on my nano tank

If the roots and base of the plant is undamaged, then it should recover with only 1 or 2 leaves.

I cut the rot a because they're 7-10 CM Long.
I left it to be around 1-2 CM.
Is that fine?

plant it and see if it grows. the longer you leave the plant out of the substrate, the less chance of it surviving.
