Tank is 200l i have 2x t8 30 watt bulbs on for 8 hours a day. I dose TNC lite but plants aint doing very well! My crypts are doing very well but my java fern and anubias aint! Even though these are meant to be easy plants.

Few people have told me to use dry fertz as it cheaper. Also i been reading up on the EI method. As far as i understand it just giving the tank more nutrients then needed to the plants have a constant suply of food and then a big water change at the end of the week to remove any exta nutrients that aint needed.

Using this... http://www.thenutrientcompany.com/aquarium/calculators/ i entered the infomation about my tank 200L and will be using the dry fetz in grams. And it came up with what i need...
Day 1 50% Water Change and:-
Add 3.1 g Potassium Nitrate (KNO3)
Add 1.2 g Monopotassium Phosphate (KH2PO4)
Add 7.4 g Magnesium Sulphate (MgSO4)

Day 2 Add 0.79 g TNC Trace

Day 3
Add 3.1 g Potassium Nitrate (KNO3)
Add 1.2 g Monopotassium Phosphate (KH2PO4)
Add 7.4 g Magnesium Sulphate (MgSO4)

Day 4 Add 0.79 g TNC Trace

Day 5
Add 3.1 g Potassium Nitrate (KNO3)
Add 1.2 g Monopotassium Phosphate (KH2PO4)
Add 7.4 g Magnesium Sulphate (MgSO4)

Day 6 Rest

Day 7 Rest

So then i went on the internet trying to find these dry fetz... http://www.fluidsensoronline.com/index.php?main_page=shopping_cart Just wondering if anyone who has expeirence with dry fertz could have a look to make sure im buying the right dry fertz and if dosing what on each day sounds correct?

Thanks!

We can't see your shopping cart but you're in the right shop and you have the right names there.

I buy my Magnesium Sulphate (MgSO4) as Epsom salts, as it's cheaper that way.

whats Epsom salts? and whats your plant growth like? isit working for you?

The first bit is correct, the second isn't the case. It's pretty important to know that as it gets repeated again and again :good:
The water change is to get rid of the organics and plant nasties that extra growth can produce. Resetting nutrients or taking them away would just amount to a waste of money TBH.

IMO
