Drinking Glass safe for Aquarium?

I was just wondering, if i could use a normal ordinary glazed drinking glass inmy aquarium. I mean, it should be safe, considering it is used for food right? And is waterproof...Just wondering lol,

Well, its like a clear drink glass lol.,...If mugs are okay, i could one of those too....i also have a terracotta pot, that was only used for 'dirt cake'
any of those okay?

Your glass and your terracotta pot (cleaned! ) will both be fine .

There was a post in the members pictures section a short while back (can't be bothered to look for it now though! ) where someone had put a bowl or glass container of some sort in their tank.

Looked good and from the pics, the fish liked it too.

nc_nutcase had posted a while back about glueing the same sand/gravel that he has in his tank onto the pots with regular aquarium silicone so that they blended in but still gave the fish caves to hide in. If you go that route though, I would suggest letting them soak in a bucket of water for 3 or 4 weeks to let the silicates in the silicone come out so you don't get the algae problem associated with them.
