I want to add a small piece of driftwood to my tank since i may add a Bristlenose Plec and i heard that they like to munch on it. Maybe this is a dumb question, but where do you find driftwood? Is this just the plain old kind of wood you find on the beach or something else?

u have to be carefull when addin stuff like this... not any old wood can go into ur tank, why dont u do a search for subjects relating to driftwood (otherwise known as mopani(sp) and or bogwood)

most lf's stock it in lovley sizes an shapes... but it can (if in a large amount) lower ur ph, iv never had problems with this an i have a huge hulking peice in my 4ft tank, easly 2 ft in lenght and very thick....

True about lowering the PH
I have three small bits in my 20 gallon tank, tape water PH is 8 after bog wood had been in the tank fro three weeks the tank has now dropped to 7. Will have to make sure it does not drop any more.

We usually get ours from LFS, but I've been looking at the ones on ebay lately. Hmm...wonder if there are any on aquabid
