If you could have any color of betta (or maybe you have your dream color?) what would it be? Even if it doesn’t exist or you’ve never seen it or it’s an impossibly perfect mix of certain colors…

Mine would be Koi colored PKs, with perfectly outlined markings of black and orange or red on a white body. A whole bunch of them. ^^

wow there are so many pretty ones, I have no idea.

I did not realize there were different tail types either till I came to this forum.

My dream betta has always been a strikingly marbled yellow/red plakat. They say such coloring is virtually impossible because of the NR gene and the red etc, but a member of my club brought in a picture of one he found on the net a couple of weeks ago. It pretty much blew the "impossible" theories out of the water. It wasn't quite what I was picturing in my head, but lovely and a step in the right direction. I have the picture somewhere, I'll dig for it in my paperwork.

Are you members meaning this one? If yes, we all are in same wave length! Someone bid over me this guy!

Hahahaha  Come to Mama if Mama paid high price for him. LOL
Actually this breeder got very nice betta and he been putting up the price very high. So now he lower his price and I would love to have one or two of his betta as my collection. :)

dream colour and dream fish.

crowntail, with a white body, tail next to body a different colour not white, and ends of tail white.

will hopefully get one like that from bettaman soon :D

The other day, I saw a betta that was red, white and blue, but in tiger-like stripes. It made me think how much I would love a tiger striped orange and black betta. I don't think it's possible, but...ooooooooo.

yeeviabetta, this Betta is just absolutely stunning !

I'm not sure why, but I'm not terribly impressed by the betta pic that yeeviabetta posted. He looks like a sweetie, but I would not choose him for his color. I don't usually like the mottled or marble colored bettas. I think they look kinda mutt-ish. That's just me, though. I'm not terribly fond of that kind of coloring in any animal, the exception being a really nicely colored paint horse. *grin* Even then, the patterning has to be just right for me to think it looks nice.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the mottled or marbled look?
