I posted the pic of my beardies on here just to show off my lovely pets I have taken on board the comments about the substrate and have looked into our options. We are going to pick up some calcium sand at the weekend so thank you for that. As for the heat mat issue we have a heatmat we are going to continue using a heatmat and if you don't agree with their use then that's up to you but I think this debate is getting a little heated. We have seen reasons for and against heatmats and I think we should just let people make their own minds up with the evidence they had.

Thanks again for your comments and concerns but I think this thread has run it's course now.
