Thats a bloody nice plec, what is it anyone? I wanna do some research!

Looks like an LDA33 to me - "Big white spot plec"

Doesn't the big white spot plec have yellow tints to it's dots too? Also, they aren't jet black are they?

like most plecs - they try to blend in to their surroundings

Ours goes grey when he's out in the open on the white sand but is jet black when he's in the cover of the bogwood

Most you see in shops will be stressed and will therefor be a grey colour

I see, so black sand/gravel would result in it being jet black like Conquerer's? No wonder my plec is always changing colours.

We have a couple of snowballs and they fade out a bit when they are exploring on the light coloured sand, we are getting them black sand to prevent this, I assume even though they seem to do it quite easily, that it's got to be some kind of stressfull for them.
