Me and my girl friend jsut got a dp the other day, 4 days ago, and well, it passed on today.
Salt I used was "aquarium salt" is this any good?
I added 1 tablespoon per 5 US gallons of water. Is this good or do I need to purchase a hyrdometer?
Tank was not 100% cycled. Added mature filter media and did periodic water changes to keep ammonia and nitrite down below .25 ppm.
Temp is around 78 degrees F.
I am not sure of the current ammonia, nitrite or pH readings right now as I am not at my girlfirends house where the tank it.
The dp was also in a 2.5 US gallon tank. Is that too small?
Please let me know.
Thank you!
