What med are you using.

currently nothing. I don't want to overmedicate with something that they don't need. I started with the ick attack a while back but only dosed once and have done a few water changes since then and removed the med.

You need to get treating for parasites or it will get worse.
Are the fish flicking and rubbing, laboured breathing.

They have been flicking and rubbing but not that much. I haven't seen any labored breathing though.

So should I just use a general parasite med? Nothing specific?

Never heard of scales before going a shiny blue colour, are you sure its not there colour.

Yeah I'm sure. They're fully grown female gray bodied guppies. A couple of the males have some of it underneath their mouths too. That's where it's the worst on all of the fish that have it. There is also some on their flanks. But it's the worst under their mouths.

I've treated for parasites but it didn't help much. They're all still alive and active.
I don't know what to do. I started treating for fungus and it seemed to help a small degree. They haven't been rubbing on the gravel as much. I've noticed that it's really only my guppies that are affected by it. I think I might try treating for fungus again.

the only med that I could get was the fizzing tablets right now.

What do fizzing tablet treat never heard of it.
Have you used a parasite med if so what was the name of it.

The parasite med I used is called Parasite Clear and it's active ingredients are, praziquantel; diflubenzuron; metronidazole; acriflavine

And the fungus med is called Fungus Clear. It's active ingredients are nitrofurazone; furazolidone; potassium dichromate

They're both made by a company named Jungle Laboratories. They're available at pretty much all fish stores in America. I bought them at walmart.
