I have 2 dojo loaches but due to time commitments I’m going to have to get rid of my cold-water tank; I was wondering would these would be ok in a tropical tank at 25oc?

Even though a lot of people do keep them in tropical aquariums, I would say "no". I personally would not keep them in anything over 20C.

The other issue is I think you can take them up to 23 degrees maximum but

Is acclimatising them to even low tropical temperatures after keeping them in cold water temperatures going to stress them a bit to much even if it is done over an extended period of time?

See that is what I was wondering; their tank is currently about 20-21 degrees anyway at the moment; colder in winter obviously

A change of cold to 20C over a couple of weeks should be fine.

Lets hope so

i'm rather hoping you haven't done it yet, if you haven't, please don't! If you have, please take the little guys out :(

living in a tropical tank will kill them, my partner was growing one on in his tropical tank before we were living together, when i visited he was hiding down the far end of the tank in the top corner - the coolest part. I told him he needed to catch him up and bring him to live with my dojo's in my cold tank but his tank was heavily decorated & planted which made him very reluctant to net him (they are ninjas in cold water, imagine them in warm water...)
the little guy died before he got him out, he was in there a good few months and grew quite a bit during the time, but we can only assume it was the warm water that killed him as the tank and other inhabitants where happy & healthy.

Please don't take the risk! :( i'd never do it
