For me i pick dogs...they seem much more fun and interesting than cats. Got to love them

We have one of each but cat's are better especially if you got a whole herd of em like my cousin

Thank god I live in the 'country' and don't have to pick up after my dog's waste

Dogs all the way. I have 5. No picking up of the poo for me either,they go outside and do their business and I just have to watch where I step when I mow the grass. LOL

I like dogs because they are loyal but I also like cats because they are independent.

When I get a bigger home, I plan on having both.

i've got both - i love them both in different ways. We brought Whisper the cat up form being 3 weeks old cos her mammy died, so in some ways she still sees me as her mammy. which is adorable when shes in a cuddly mood....
however! tilly (dog) is always in a cuddly mood, so so so loyal, so intelligent, so protective of me... how can you not love something that loves you so unconditionally ?!

Yep i'm afraid Tilly is my best girl....sorry Whisper!

Have both and love both, but I have to say that dogs are a heckuva lot higher maintenance than cats. What I have is two dogs and two cats and far too much work.

I would have said both, but I like dogs better. They make better companions and they are far more animated.

I like both and wish I could have both. I have 2 cats now. Tiny condo with an even tinnier patio area. I wish I had a dog to take with me to the beach. Cats don't do well on a leash!

i love both i have a cat now it is realy sweet and an attention seeker i wish i could have a dog but its to small were we live lol any way i will get one in the future
