Does Liquid Cabon Inhibit The Cycling Process?

AGA conference ?? :S
Its the international Aquatic Gardeners Association. I'm a member and went to the last conf in Atlanta. Some of the members in our planted section have submitted tanks to the competition in the past and perhaps currently I believe...

WD,

You need this for K and P:

http://www.aquariumfertilizer.com/index.as...nShowItemStart=

This for K and N:

http://www.aquariumfertilizer.com/index.as...nShowItemStart=

This for all your trace elements:

http://www.aquariumfertilizer.com/index.as...nShowItemStart=

And you use this site to work out how much of each you need to reach the required ppm:

If you have very soft water, considering adding a pinch of this at water change. I used to, but have since stopped with no detriment to plant growth:

Dissolve these in your tap water, or add them dry, and spend seconds per day dosing...it really is simple.

I apologise for the site`s incorrect spelling of sulphate.

The above is the easy part, so make sure you nail your CO2, because that is the variable that could bring on growth and algae issues.

We don`t usually give this info to the accursed Americanos, but you seem a decent sort.

Dave.

 OK Aaron and Dave, for this custom treatment I would bring over my silver TR6 and the beers would be on me except I no longer have the TR6 and I think the next guy painted it red ( ) and besides, any Brit would no doubt recognize that silver was never a true TR6 color to begin with so I would have stopped and told I was on the wrong side of the road.

Well you may have rescued me just in time before I ordered more Flourish bottles and this may move me up a notch among the sub-ranks of complete non-green-thumb newbies if I actually do it and start mixing little powders in my secret lab. (have a new shed that cries out for this sort of activity, lol)

Since I have KH=0 or KH=1 I like the little touch about adding a pinch of BarrPowder!

You two will be interested to know that Aaron's recent reminder to me that from a plant standpoint the weekly water change is not all about "re-setting" the EI amounts but is also a good way to be clearing algae spores, clearing (I guess organics associated with mulm) and clearing unmeasureable ammonia... has made me think about another micro experiment in Oliver's tank: thinking of adding a midweek additional water change for a while to see if I can detect any algae reduction. Said tank as been looking especially spiffy to me of late since I knocked off an hour from the morning photoperiod.

Your humble state-sider, ~~waterdrop~~
