ok heres the problem, i'm currently building a website using flash 8,
It currently is set up over 7 scenes

The problem i'm having is that the text appears at a different size on each scene,
I can make a text box in scene 7 and type something and make it Verdana size 12, then on another scene i can make a text box and type the same thing at the same font and size and it appears almost 4 times larger?

Any ideas on why this is happening?

Thanks in advance Dave

I assume the stages are all the same size, and that the area that they are being displayed in has not been re-sized on the site? Also, where are you viewing it when you observe the problem, in Flash or on the Site or both?

I rate myself as "beginner" with Flash, so if the answer to those three questions was no or both, I can't help. Sorry

All the best
Rabbut

Hi Rabbut, thanks for the reply
yes all stages are the same, nothing has been resized to my knowledge?, and the text is appearing at a different size on both the flash file, swf file and published html file,

are you wlling to upload the .swf file etc so we can take a look at it...trying to resolve a flash issue without seeing what is happening is pretty difficult.

I too don't know much, but willing to look at the code.

thanks for the replies,
think i've somehow sorted the problem as the text is starting to look at least a similar size,

Edit: link now removed

Thanks, i'm just hoping the loader issue is due to the server space being free and presuambly therefore has a much slower bandwidth
The site is actually not for me but is being done for a friend
