Do Your Fish Stay Up Late.

My fish are all still very active right up until lights out at 10.00pm.

However, most evenings I'm in bed before they are these days. Must be getting old!

my tank lights generally go off about from 10.30-11pm til about 7.30, and when im laying in bed i can only really see the 15g, and the rasboras after about 5 minutes go into "suspended animation" but the cories are whizzing round the tank at night, and then they sit around all day! i think they like a bit of the night life as well

Well I turn all tank lights off at around 7pm.
I know the fish in the 28 stay up for a while.
My bettas in the 10 stay up for a little while but are usually asleep a few hours after lights out.
And my betta Caine is a lazy bugger so he sleeps here and there all the time
Fish in Q/H tank stay up for quite a while since our kitchen light is never off

My fish light is off by about 7.30pm and by my bedtime (7.30-9.00) they are usually still awake but rather slower.

I own a 35 Gallon Tank and in it are three mollies and three platies.

Is this time okay?

P.S For those who are wondering why I go to bed so early is cause I'm only ten years old.

PMSL at you lot, I turn the lights out just before I go to bed myself so who knows what shannanigans they get up to, though it may explain the cigarette burns in the tank lid.

Between 2-3 am most nights (or mornings) I turn the lights off. My schedule is sporatic I turn them back on when I get up, some where between 11am-1pm. My bedside tank is on a timer it turns on at 11:30 in the hopes of waking me up... it doesn't work though

I forgot to turn the lights on my 55gal off last night .

All my fish are dirty stop-outs

They're never asleep before midnight - but then neither am I so they are probably copying my sleeping pattern. They are just so active, though - whereas I'm usually crashed out on the sofa by 10pm, they don't stop. I don't know where they get all their energy - makes me tired just watching them zooming about the tank all evening!

My lights are normally off between 11PM and 1AM. But I don't think my oscar sleeps. He's always playing with his ping pong balls during the night, exactly when I don't want him playing with them!
