The comments were rather nasty to say the least. Fighting them is illegal in the US, though. As for the spawning vid, I sent an e-mail but I couldn't get it.

The thing floating is his bubble nest and its a huge one at that. After she releases the eggs he will spit them in in the nest and once hatch the babies will stay in it untill they are free swimming

i think the musics ok, but its a bit repetitive and dull. also your pronouncing betta wrong. it has a hard T like bet or better you are pronouncing it with a soft T like the greek letter beta. great pics though. looking forward to seeing it finished.

I have never heard anyone pronounce it as anything except for like the greek letter. I've lived all over the US and have only heard this pronunciation for at least 15 years. What gives?

The font and the alignment of text in the top left doesn't look as professional as I think it could if you chose a nicer font and centered it.

I've been a Betta breeder for nearly 24 years. It makes me nuts when I hear and see the name "Betta" spelled and pronounced wrong. Your site has Betta spelled wrong all over it. You have it spelled "Beta". This is a common spelling error when folks are mispronouncing the name.

The spelling error comes when folks say "bait-tuh", instead of correctly pronpuncing it "Bet-tuh" Please correct the spelling mistakes, as you are only fueling this all too common error.

AE: It's always just the same familiar long E sound as it is in "Caesar" or "encyclopaedia." That includes the Latin feminine possessive ending: "alumnæ" is "a-LUM-nee." Two updated pictures one showing the state of poor odin's tail now after the fin rot problem, which by the way has now stopped
and the other you can see one white spot which the tank is currently suffering from on poor little odin.....but horray for fishes on the mend....treating ich with salt and heat!
