Do You Ever Feel Weird Eating Fish?

I wondered if anyone who keeps fish feels funny about eating fish. Personally I don't like fish so it's never crossed my mind. But if you had like a fish dished up roasted whole or something would it makeou feel a bit

I hate the taste and the smell, I've hated it since young, long before keeping fish, that has no bearing on it.

I have gone right off it since keeping them. It just does not feel right any more.

I'm the complete opposite. I think since keeping fish I like fish eating fish a little bit more. Saying that, where I live I'm use to where food comes from. Most people will happily eat pork, beef and lamb but when it comes to killing it they can't stand it and don't want to. We have 4 farms surrounding our village including a chicken, pig, cow and now duck farm. Personally I see eating fish like eating any other type of meat saying that I can understand why you may feel slightly weird especially if you don't like the taste of fish to start off with. I guess it's just personal choice really.

I love eating fish.
A nice monk fish or seabass. Have developed a love for sturgeon too, only tried it a few months ago as they were selling it in a local supermarket when I was on holiday. Did feel slightly strange when I was thinking about it but once I tasted it, it was amazing.

Yeah love fish, never crossed my mind how you have put it really. I mean i like meat and fish too much to think of it in those ways, the way meat and fish is packaged makes it easier i suppose like Duz says. Plus its not like we eat the same fish we keep in our aquariums, just like we dont eat the meat we keep as pets, ie cats and dogs. Although i suppose some people keep farm animals as pets

we still eat it, but then we rear pigs for our own pork too, lamb for the table and also beef, so we can't be too squeamish about it, the only thing we can't do is kill a chicken which folks find weird that we do the rest but can't do them, but there you go, the weird life of farming!!
