Over the years we have had some rare plecs on the forum but there doesn;t seem so many round any more

Who still keeps rare L nos on here

Show us some pics and let us know about your experiences with them

Over the years I have had L25, L200,L128, Blue Eyed plec,l75 and L264 and L114. Looking at the prices now I wish I still had them!!!

l200 green phantom pleco about £30
l128 blue phantom pleco around £40 to 70.
l114 leopard catus pleco £50 to £110

i have a leopard catus full red tail know as l600 i have had him for about a year he was about 2 and a half inches long but he's quite rare i was after a flame plec or leopard catus i'd been waiting for around 10 months for one of these pleco the flame pleco never came but the later one did and he cost me £60

any pics Liam for this thread?

I have a L200, L102 and L066 getting a picture of them may be hard they hid a the time

I will try

I;d love another L200 I sold mine in 2009 had a lovely 128 as well.

yay well I have bought a couple today a lovely L114 and a big L128

Love plecs!

I have not been around in a while.

Currently I have:

- 11 wild caught L-134 breeders (Pekolita). i have had 5 spawns but had no luck getting them to free swimming. I believe they need more space and the fms are eating each others eggs and the dads are also inexperienced and lose wigglers. (No pics)

- 5 wild caught Hypancistrus contradens which have been spawning for about 15 - 18 months. About 40 assorted fry from them.

- 7 F1 L-173 (Hypancistrus) acquired via Aquarium Glaser in Germany. Been growing them out for about 14 months now. (No pics.)

- 8 F1 L-450 (Hypancistrus) growing out. Acquired from the first American breeder of them and likely the only one. (No pics)

- About 55 L-046 aka Hypancistrus zebra. They are 13 wild caught breeders I have had most of since Apr. O6 or earlier. I have 15 F1s from them forming a new breeder group and about 25-30 assorted size fry growing out.
