Do I just have a really picky Betta or what?

well if you go with hikari brand frozen stuff, you wont have to worry about parasites.

a lot of people feed daphnia when their betta gets constipated or once a week as a cleansing food.
i have never tried feeding an adult betta brine shrimp-i have heard of people doing it but it seems to be too much trouble for the small list of benefits.
i have also never had a betta that didnt like bloodworms-frozen or freeze dried.

I have fed my bettas live brine shrimp before. They really like them. When my mom got one that wouldn't eat anything we tried live brine shrimp and after that he was fine eating pellets and other stuff. Also had one that wouldn't eat anything at all till I put one guppy fry with him. He watched that guppy eat the food he refused tp eat for about three days until I looked in one day and the guppy was gone. Guess who decided to eat after that. Go figure.
