Diy Tank Lid

Im going to make a lid for my 150G but was wondering what type of wood will be best and what will i need to coat it in?

i built a lid for one of my tanks . I used plywood stained it on the out side and used a special white waterproof paint on the inside, but you could use pond lining paint pic

Looks great. I had completely forgotten about pond paint that will work perfect cheers.
