DIY Refectors

I dont really feel like buying reflectors, are there any DIY ideas for reflectors?
 
lol I have yards of the stuff i if you want :lol: the sent me enough to cover several 6 ft tanks ! so if you're in the UK, pm me how much (size wise) you want and I'll send you some.
 
Alright thanks, i'll have to get some Mylar, and im in the US but thanks for the offer.
 
You can make reflectors out of plastic drain-pipe.(3") simply by cutting to the required length and then sawing that in half. (now you have 2 reflectors) Paint these white and attach some fluorescent tube clips to the inside and screw to the aquarium hood. Tidy, simple and effective.

What I used for 36inch hood....I made 3 reflectors
4 inch white PVC pipe and the reflective emegency blankets
cut pipe in half then used 15 min epoxy put cut peice of emerg.
blanket on 1/2 pipe and smoothed it out ...cost me $12...
