>>I used to drive my mother batty blowing up eggs in the microwave when I was a kid. Good times

Sounds entertaininng enough, but I love my microwave too much to blow it up for fun.

>> Is it ok if there are remnants of meat on the shell.

It's probably best to get in there with a razor blade if it needs scraping that bad; the meaty stuff will probably rot over time and nobody likes a rotting coconut.

I think the coconut I got was just rotten. ad that's why I couldnt get it all off. I'm going today to get another one, hopefully that one works better.

I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts... here they are all standing in a row...

For no apparent reason, this really made me laugh!

Great idea :)

OK, mine is done. This is in my 10 gallon for the fry to hide in.

I did another one, but I didn't put it in yet.

^^Haha, maybe because of the colors. Anyway, i switched that one into the 29 gallon with the other one and covered them with java moss. It looks really good now, and ill try and get some pics up soon.

Mune looks pretty kool. I just had the impulse to pick up a coconut and smash it, so i did and i got a nice hole in it. My male swordtail loves it.

ps. mine looks better than yours
