I'd assumed it was a Northern (UK) word as those of us who are broad Yorkshire use the word gob for mouth - as in "shut yer gob!"

I read awhile ago that neon tetras were commonly died to infance their red stripe! Do you know if this is still happening or how to tell the difference between inhanced red stripes and natural red stripes?
Also you would surely think that the pet shop would want to get its staff trained at least partly! Wouldn't they think that people are more likely to buy if the sellers are knowledgeable? It just doesn't make sense! If I ever owned a pet shop I would make sure my staff specialised and it just seems crazy for so many pet shops not to train their staff for wherever their specialised in!
It's disappointing when you find a pet shop like the one you said about espicially is you have trusted them before!

The problem with that, Blondie, is they sound knowledgable and confident. Having said that there are some good ones out there so credit where it's due.
