Whats the minimum tank size for a pair of discus, breeding and non breeding.

well i'd say for a breeding pair on their own 40 to 50 gal should be also gives the fry room to grow and theres not rely such thing as a non breeding pair if its naot a spawnig pair you need to a group of about 5 in around a 55gal

A non breeding pair of Discus won't work. Min tank size for a pair of breeding Discus is 29g for a non breeding Discus min. is 5 in a 50g.

Is that LxWxH? It might not be tall enough if thats the case.

Yeah thats right, if it isn't never mind, it was just a thought, I'll think about getting a bigger tank if i want to keep discus

Yeah, pretty much what I said, 10g per Discus is suffecient.

try get 5 in a 55, i found its always best in odd numbers as i had 5 then added 3 and one is always picked on. im thinking of returning it.
