Ok, so I have a 55 gallon fish tank with 3 discus in it.
My first problem is that my smallest one (a red pigeon blood) is getting picked on by the medium sized one (a red turqouise) rlentlessly foe about a week, will it stop?
My second problem is that my biggest one ( I bought him today, and hes another red turq) has these red blotches on either side of his face, below his nose holes and above his mouth, it looks like if it was internal bleeding but I dont know. Any ideas?

idk about the spots, but they might not stop picking on the small one because they need a bigger group

I introduced a new discus to my tank recently. It was a 3 inch blood discus. My smaller turquise picked on him for over a week, and has recently stopped. it is possible that they are just being territorial and going through the pecking order. could you post some picks of the red dots. I'm not sure about those I'd have to see.

I dont have a camera available right now but there not really dots, more like a little blotch, like a dark red vein or something like that.

There will also be chasing between discus, you need to keep a minimum of 5 so it is spread around. They have a pecking order and you will always have one fish at the bottom of it, but with a group it should be constantly bullied. Buy two new discus, then rearrange the decor in your tank before adding them in. You will probably get a fair bit of fighting for a while but it shouldn't be anything serious.

Can't really help with the red marks, but check your water stats and post them and the tank setup and we may be able to advise. Also post up tank setup such as substrate/decor and tank mates. Regardless I would be doing to daily water changes with soft water to see if it helped.
