So, I got a new pair of discus three days ago, and they are already laying eggs on my heater. Now I haven't kept discus before, so I am fairly new to their behaviour with fry, etc. They are in a community SA tank, so I am sure the eggs won't have much a chance unless they are moved?

Yes, they would need to be moved. The best course of action would be to setup your discus in a separate tank.

Well, I don't have a seperate tank big enough for them right now. Anyways, there are fry now. They got moved to the underside of some driftwood, and the female is just hanging in front of them, guarding them, but nobody else in the tank is going anywhere near the discus right now. I know that the fry need to be with the patents for several weeks.

There's not really much you can do without having another large tank. It's great to see they've settled in so well and so quick though!

I'm sure you'll have a few more chances if all goes wrong but good luck!
