lol you think thats bad? here in aus we pay $40 for a 2-3" common plec. Everything else is bout $80

jeeze, at the store i work at a like 1.5-2" common plec is 3.88 and all the bigger ones, like 5-10+" are 15.88. $40 for a common plec is insane, even when we had gold nugget and royal plecos they were only $35.88 canadian. (the stupid 88 is a big al's price thing....) and clown plecos (1-1.5") are only 8.88 i believe.
