Depressed Angel?

Since one of my other angel fish died, my remaining angel neglects food, hides all day behind a tree and doesn't swim around like he/she used to... is it depressed or sick? He/she is only 10 months old. Any suggestions??

I had 2 angels, they were about a year old and one of them died.
The one that was left used to sit in the corner and not eat...
A few days later I got him a friend (which was smaller than him) and he seemed happy again... well happy enought to become a mating pair

If he stays depressed then maybe getting another one would be an option for you

Should Angels always be kept in 2 or more? I recently bought 2 Blue Neon Angels, but 1 died within a week. I think the other 1 picked on it.

Now the remaining one is all alone, but seems happy enough. Should I buy more?

it got sick.... its skin was turning a reddish colour it was a platinum angel. I quarantined it and it died a few days later

that sounds like hemorrhagic septicemia, which is brought on by viral or bacterial infections.
i recently had a platinum angel that developed it after i introduced some angels that came with a viral
infection. the fish made it through but my black clown angel caught it as well and died.
you dont need angels in pairs - a single angel should be happy on its own if its healthy.

just keep the water conditions good for the remaining angel and dont add anything until
you're sure it's not sick.
