no! quite true, but its fun to learn something new!Is it really worth it when you can pick up pond dechlor so cheap? As i said above, i spent £8 and worked out it should last 9 years. I couldn't be bothered making my own solution and using trial and error for dosing and testing for chlorine. Seems a lot of work for little benefit.

I recall it is used in photo developing, consider asking in a photographic supply store.
But that stuff is shocking when it comes to amounts needed. The Tetra calculator states that it requires 182ml to treat 80 gallons. I use 10ml of my pond dechlor (1 litre cost me £15)for 80 imperial gallons (which will be close to 100 US gallons, the presumed unit used by Tetra).I found aqua tap safe really cheap but you have to buy in bulk.
