When I do my 20% water change (about once a fortnight) I use a dechlorinator in the tap water... I cannot find any instructions telling me how long I should leave this water before adding to the main tank. I have had the tank since Sept 2003 and usually wait about 10 mins before adding the water back.......

how long should you leave the water for the medication stuff to do its thing and dechlorinate?

its a question thats been bugging me for months!

:)

Yes you are in the wrong forum, but neverthless here's the answer... ;)

Dechlorator works instantly. I put some into the tank before pooring tap water directly into the tank and add some more as I add more tap water. I now use syringe to pre-measure the amount and distribute them evenlly when water is added.
