Death And Destruction

Yes i do have the Quick Cure. The only thing with online stuff has: shipping+handling, and my mom tihnk's im too young to be on here, now, ordering stuff isnt a topic i want to get on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would salt help? Or should i not add it. M yfish do look alot more vibrant after the water change, but i dont know why that would be like that, if my water tested fine!!!!! Any input on this?

You could have your lfs order it in, expect to pay more than the online price. One of the advantages of being involved with a local aquatics club is the ability to pool orders and split shipping. I wouldn't bother with salt.

Fish love fresh water! They will often color up after a water change, this is better for them than adding salt. Fresh water is in my opinion the best preventave medicine there is. It doesn't matter what the tests read, as fish evolved with a constant supply of fresh water.

Thank's tolak! I willadd the medicine right NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your a great help!!!!!!!

Still looking good. None of the fish that i have left have the problem, so i am keeping my finger's crossed.

I have a 30g tank with the following: 2 male Fancy guppies 6 female fancy guppies 1 angelfish 3mollies 5 black Phantom Tetra's 2danio's A few convict fry( to be moved when big enough to be caught!) 1 Blood Parrot( to be moved when it get's to big for the tank) I also have a 20gallon Flat Hexagon Tank with: Alot of baby Convict's 4 baby platies My Community tank has ich. The Male mollie is the first one to show real problem's. Then i had a female guppie die today, which leaves me with 6 female's. I also have a male Platy Showing Problem's. I am currently Treating with CopperSafe. My con/random fry tank. I have fry with on eye cover in a white mass.It kill's them in 2-3 day's. I am treating with Melafix + CopperSafe, as i am unsure what is wrong. I also have a female black molly in the community tank with a huge bubble of a eye. Not pop eye, as it look's like there is a white contact len's on it. I am not sure what's wrong, so im hopeing that the CopperSafe will help! Keep me in your thought/prayer's/whatever and hope i get through this will little to no losses.

You can use NOX-Ich for dealing with ich. Also, do a 45-50% water change and use aquarium salt!(it helps me a lot!) API has a nice range of products to help you. Also, I think API has a dye-medication that treats fungus which works quite well for me. Good luck with your meds and I will keep your fish in my nightly prayers but mollies are VERY demanding. It's either they do well in your tank or not. The molly might also be weakened by stress.

The molliesseem fine now. I have had plenty of mollies over the year's. I do use Aquarium Salt.

I am having more issues with the convict's. It isnt like massive destruction, but the eyes are going black and getting big, and they get a white fot on top when they die!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The onvict's eye's just are black. Not alway's. There are still alot so i cant tell who is who. Their eyes are completely black, like licorice when i find them dead. I have only lost 5, so not a big deal compared to what i was having, and this has been over the week. So not as bad! But still.........

HELP!!!!!!!!! I have a very good sized Convict, who is doing a "death" dance. He is swimming around in spirals. Around 75 rpm( rotations per minute) I dont think i can save him, but why is he doing this? He looks fine, no blemsihes or anything!Another convict has a white stipre on his eye, like Eye Flukes, but i treated for that, and it is still there! Should i just cull the batch, and medicate the tank, and then add a few babie convict'sd from another thing and see what happen's? I dont want them to die, but nothing is working!

Nope none of those. Problem solved, i culled the whole batch( except for the healthy ones in the 30g). I did a HUGE( LIKE 75%) water change, and im treating the tank for a week, then im going to add 1 fish in and see what happen's. Will keep updated.

The tank is fine now adn the babies were sold off. Here is my only good pic of the 20g tank before culling:

The pic is dark as there was so many fish they were kind blocking out the light( the tank was severly over crowded as i didnt want to cull at first.
